On Wednesday, April 24 from 6:30 pm to 8:00pm (Doors open at 6:00pm) at the Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre, there will be a special ceremony for the unveiling of the 2019 commemorative stamp honouring the Vancouver Asahi baseball team. Mr. Kaye Kaminishi is planned to be in attendance. Please come to this special event. RSVP by Thursday, April 18 to [email protected].

The Asahi Baseball Association (formerly known as the Canadian Nikkei Youth Baseball Club) is dedicated to creating healthy communities through the game of baseball. Inspired by the legacy of the Asahi Baseball team, for their skill, perseverance and accomplishments, it is our collective dream to bring back the Asahi Baseball Team to the Nikkei Community and Canada.
