Notice of Annual General Meeting for Asahi Baseball Association - Saturday, August 29, 2020, 8 pm

All current members are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Asahi Baseball Association on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 8 pm.  

Due to Covid-19, we will be holding the meeting by Zoom video conferencing,

Please note we will be voting on a special resolution to amend the bylaws as follows:

     SPECIAL RESOLUTION 2:  The Bylaws of the Society be amended as follows (blacklined for your convenience):

(1)   The membership period is from September 1 to August 31 of the following year
                    will be set by the Board of Directors.
 
Discussion:  The flexibility of allowing the Board to set the membership period allows it to be changed to April 1 to March 31 to better align with Baseball BC dues.  As Baseball BC dues are based on the number of Asahi player, if Asahi’s membership period is not aligned, it may result in an overpayment of dues.
