Early Thursday morning, Sachiya "Harry" Yonezawa took his final breath with friends and his loving wife by his side.
We were told a few days ago that the treatments that he was receiving were taking an adverse effect on him. The doctors could only keep Harry pain-free, help him with his breathing, and make him as comfortable as possible.

At around 4:30 a.m. , we said goodbye and thanked Harry for so much he taught us and how he blessed all of us with his presence in our lives.

He put so much into perspective.. he taught us how precious our health is and how each minute of each day is something to treasure.  Take every moment and opportunity that is given to us and value them. ARIGATO!
Although Harry was only 23, he accomplished more than many of us will do in a lifetime. Harry kept telling us that he wasn't ready to pass on... he wanted to fight... he wanted to so much more.

He kept fouling off so many pitches right to the very end.  He wasn't going to watch the final strike go by him.  He was going to keep swinging...he was going to do everything he could to see another pitch.
Like the fighter he is, Harry went down swinging.

What an amazing at bat.
