 In recognition of youth who make outstanding contributions to the Asahi Baseball Association. This award recognizes youth volunteers who promote the Asahi objectives; inspire respect, sportsmanship and best effort; and help preserve the Vancouver Asahi legacy.
NOMINATION/APPLICATION Recipients may apply or be nominated by a member by a letter/email to info@asahibaseball.com (500 word maximum) before December 31 of each year. AWARD SELECTION All award nominations will be reviewed and selected by the Awards Committee. The Awards Committee will determine the number and amount of the award(s) each year which shall not exceed 5% of the retained earnings of the Association. Award recipients will be notified prior to any public announcement, and will be invited to attend an Awards Presentation Ceremony. ELIGIBILITY Eligible nominees are any individual aged 16 to 25 who is a member of the Association.

The Asahi Baseball Association (formerly known as the Canadian Nikkei Youth Baseball Club) is dedicated to creating healthy communities through the game of baseball. Inspired by the legacy of the Asahi Baseball team, for their skill, perseverance and accomplishments, it is our collective dream to bring back the Asahi Baseball Team to the Nikkei Community and Canada.
