2018 Winter Oval Training Session
The Asahi Baseball Association will be running winter training sessions starting January 7th, skips the 14th and continues for 6 consecutive weeks.  During the 7 sessions, players will be working on hitting and fielding fundamentals.  Please note that spaces are limited and these sessions are very popular.  Registration is now open for ALL current members and the non-members on November 24th.

Dates:   Every SUNDAY from Jan 7th - Feb 25th
    (7 sessions, excluding Jan 14th)

Where: Richmond Olympic Oval

Cost:    $130 (Tadpole session)  /  $180 (Mosquito, Pee Wee and Bantam sessions)

11:45 am – 1:15 pm    Tadpole (2009 - 2010 born)
 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm      Mosquito 1 (2007 - 2008 born)
 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm      PeeWee 1 (2005 - 2006 born)
 2:45 pm - 4:45 pm       PeeWee 2 (2005 - 2006 born)  
 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm      Mosquito 2 (2007 - 2008 born) 
 6:15 pm – 8:15 pm      Bantam (2004 and earlier born)

Registraion Procedure:
Please register in the session your player is currently registered in or in the age appropriate session.  Registration in the incorrect sessions will be automatically removed from the list.

Upon completion of your registration online, you will be placed on a time stamped list.   Payment  is due on or before Tuesday November 28rd.  Payment can be made by:

1)  sending an e-transfer to: [email protected].  Please make the security question, 
           "What way of baseball does the Asahi play?" and the answer, "Japanese"

2)  credit card by creating an account on our website: www.asahibaseball.com 
to have access to our members only pages, there was an email sent inviting members to create an account on  Sat. Nov. 18th.

After you create an account: 
1)  login as member on the Asahi website
2)  look for the "MORE" tab
3)  from the dropdown menu hover over "MEMBERS"
4)  click on "CLINICS"
5)  you will find "2018 Winter Clinic at the Richmond Oval"

Player payments not received on Tuesday November 28th, will have their registration removed from the list.  Once removed, you will need to register again online.  If you pay by e-transfer, your e-mail confirmation that the e-transfer was successful will be your confirmation of your registration.  Please print and save your confirmation. 

Any cancellations 21 days prior to the 1st session will only be refunded if the spot can be filled.  In the unfortunate event of an injury, the player can request a refund for the balance and if the spot can be filled, the Board can grant the refund.  All cancellations and refunds are subject to a $40 administration fee.

OPTIONAL STRENGTH & CONDITIONING SESSIONS

Our Asahi older players (born in 2006 or earlier) have an opportunity to participate in some world class Strength & Conditioning at the Richmond Oval.  The strength and conditioning coaching that the players would receive is with coaches that coach Olympic and professional athletes.

Location:       Richmond Oval
Day:              seven(7) Sunday's starting Jan. 7th, excluding January 14th
Time:             5:00pm - 6:00pm
# of players:  minimum 15 players​
Cost:             $105.00
