I met Grace at a Carnegie centre event and discovered we had a mutual love of baseball and deep connection to Powell Street/Oppenheimer Park. Many years I was the Manager of the Oppenheimer pirates, which were part of the now Defunct Downtown Eastside slow Pitch League. For many years, we played the Asahi team the weekend after the Powell Street Festival. Grace, graces kindness and knowledge of our community is irreplaceable. She Will be greatly missed
